Panoramic Visualization at VizThink 2008

The Grove presented a workshop called “Panoramic Visualization: A Mind Gym for Group Intelligence,” at the first ever VizThink Conference in San Francisco in January 2008. We also participated in a Viz Challenge general session where David Sibbet and two other people who work with visuals in very different ways addressed a challenge assignment provided at the time of the event. Grove Wins OD Network Members’ Choice Award: “Most innovative & cutting edge Organizational Development practices”

In 2008, the Organizational Development Network (OD Network) honored The Grove with its annual Members’ Choice Award for contributions to the field of organizational development. With this award, The Grove was recognized for its “innovative and cutting-edge OD practices.” (more…)
The Grove Facilitation Model

The Grove Facilitation Model supports facilitators in understanding their specific role in managing process flow and information communication. It deals with things that facilitators might not necessarily share with the group, but need to keep in mind as they are leading people through group processes. It is also a framework for developing personal skills in facilitation, because it describes the series of challenges for which one must have responses. The model uses the formal architecture of Arthur M. Young’s Theory of Process, which The Grove has evolved into an integrating operating system for all of its tools. (more…)
